So for the heck of it I tested the android system to see if there were any obvious holes. Sorry to say I did not find any. Where I can use ADB to gain access, there is no exec rights in any directories (that I have found). Chmod is locked out so no joy there. Also using adb (and command line) you can not change system to RW so pretty much the only procedure (I think) would be to boot into safe mode and use a rooting app which I am not comfortable doing.
