I have had much success breaking down the protocol that the phone app uses to control Loomo. On the onset I want to say that I am uncomfortable with how much communication I see between the phone (and loomo) and the cloud servers, pretty much everything you do with loomo is logged. Going past that I have sniffed out a huge amount of info and compiled a nice list of commands to control loomo with a 3rd party app (using no comm to the cloud). The language seems to be a cross between JSON and XML, lots of extra chars to separate parms but overall mostly in plain english so much joy there.
